Day 1

Arrival in Tokyo

Welcome to Tokyo! Upon arrival at Narita or Haneda Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the bustling streets of Shibuya, marvel at the iconic Shibuya Crossing, and savour your first Japanese meal at a local izakaya.

Day 2

Tokyo city tour

Start your day with a visit to the historic city followed by a stroll through Nakamise Street for traditional souvenirs. Head to the Imperial Palace for a photo stop and wander through its East Gardens. In the afternoon, explore Harajuku's quirky fashion scene and visit the serene Meiji Shrine. End your day at the vibrant Akihabara district, a haven for anime and tech enthusiasts.

Day 3

Day Trip to Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchik

Depart early for a day trip to Mt. Fuji, Japan's iconic peak. Visit the 5th Station for breathtaking views (weather permitting). Take a ride on the Hakone Ropeway to witness the volcanic Owakudani Valley. Walk to Lak Kawaguchiko for some breath-taking views of Mt Fuji. Return to Tokyo in the evening. Day 4

Tokyo to Kyoto

Board the shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto, the cultural heart of Japan. Visit the enchanting Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of red torii gates. In the afternoon, explore the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and the Togetsukyo Bridge. Overnight stay in Kyoto.

Day 5

Kyoto to Nara (Day trip)

Today we do a day trip to Nara. We embark on an enriching journey through Kyoto and Nara prefecture. Marvel at the iconic vermilion torii gates as we stroll through Mount Inari’s forest. The first stop is Arashiyama. In addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery of the four seasons, Arashiyama is also famous for its bamboo forest paths formed by towering green bamboos and the beautiful Togetsukyo Bridge. Then, visit Kinkakuji, once the shogun’s villa, now a Zen temple. Nara Park awaits, home to over 1,200 deer and Tōdai-ji Temple, a breathtaking World Heritage site.

Day 6

Kyoto to Osaka - If possible then we might ride the most romantic and scenic train in Japan on our way to Osaka

We start travelling to Osaka from Kyoto. Reach Osaka, check in to the hotel and start your Osaka exploration journey. We visit the Umeda Sky observatory to look at the panoramic view of the city from the top. Explore the streets in the evening and at night explore the nightlife. Osaka is very famous for excellent shopping options so keep your bags ready to shop for some incredibly cheap stuff. Some other amazing places we will visit are: Osaka Castle, Dotombori, Harukas 300 (2nd tallest building in Japan) for some amazing sunset views, Shittenoji temple, Orange street.

Day 7

Day trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima

We start our morning from Osaka to move to Hiroshima. Once we reach there, we visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, a poignant site dedicated to the memory of the atomic bombing. Visit the Peace Memorial Museum, which provides a deep and emotional insight into the tragic event and its aftermath. Nearby, the Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome) stands as a powerful symbol of resilience. Take a short stroll to Shukkeien Garden, a beautifully landscaped traditional Japanese garden offering a peaceful contrast to the city’s history.

By midday, we head to Miyajima Island, a short ferry ride from Hiroshima. As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the iconic floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, one of Japan’s most photographed landmarks, appearing to float at high tide. Wander through the scenic streets, trying local specialties like grilled oysters and Momiji Manju (maple leaf-shaped cakes). Hike or take the ropeway up Mount Misen for breathtaking panoramic views of the Seto Inland Sea. Before leaving, enjoy a peaceful moment at Daisho-in Temple, a hidden gem with intricate Buddhist statues and serene surroundings. By evening, return to Hiroshima for a final reflection at the Hiroshima Castle, beautifully illuminated at night, before concluding your enriching day.

Osaka Exploration (Universal studios)

All those who are excited to tick off the Universal studios can visit today. The most popular attractions include – the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic Park rides, live shows and parades, Despicable Me Minion Park for kids, Water World, and many more. Those who are not keen on visiting Universal studios can explore the city at your own pace. At night, we shall explore the night life of the city. Overnight stay at Osaka
